Route description:
By train: Take the ferry behind Amsterdam Central Station heading to ‘IJplein’ (the one furthest on the right). From there it’s a 15 minute walk to De Overkant. Don’t feel like walking? Tip: On Amsterdam Central station you can rent a bicycle for only 3 euro. Follow the Meeuwenlaan, take a right on the motorcade. De Overkant will show up on your right. Pass the building by on the left side, towards the water. Take a right and enter at Restaurant Stork.
By bus: Bus 32, 33 and 38 will take you to area where you can find De Overkant. Get off at de Hamerstraat of Johan van Hasseltweg.
By car: On the A10, take the exit towards Amsterdam Noord (S116). Arriving from The Hague/Utrecht? Take a left at the end of the exit. Arriving from the Coentunnel? Take a right. Continue towards Amsterdam Noord/Centre and leave the freeway at exit S118 (North 100-399). Take a left at the end. Go right on the roundabout and continue for about 400m, until you see the Dirk vd Broek on your left. Right before the Dirk vd Broek, take a left. Keep going until you see the De Overkant on your right. Parking is free.
On Foot: When you have arrived at De Overkant, pass the building by on the left. When reaching the river, take a right and enter Restaurant Stork.
Missed your exit and entered the IJtunnel? Turn around and follow the road until you reach the S118 exit (North 100-399). Go right and take another right at the roundabout.
